The 2 basic strategies are 1) CC as many adds as possible, kill the ones you can’t CC, then go after Moroes or 2) kill the adds then moroes. # 1 is preferred, owing to Garrotte.

The off-tank must always be second on the aggro list, because the main tank will periodically be gouged and Moroes then will turn to the person with the second-highest aggro. When a tank is blinded, it needs to be removed immediately by a Shaman, Paladin or Druid (it is a poison).

It is a good idea to kill the priest(s) first, because they go down fastest (just make sure to interrupt all heals and mana burns). The warriors are very tough, so they are good candidates for CC.

Abilities
· Basic Melee: 1600-2500 on plate.
· Vanish: Vanishes, does not drop aggro.

· Garrote: After reappearing from Vanish, he will immediately garrote someone, dealing 1000 damage every 3 seconds for FIVE MINUTES (100k total damage).
Garrote can be removed by the following abilities only:
· Dwarfs Stoneform
· Paladins Divine Shield (self) and Blessing of Protection (others)
· Mages Ice Block
· Items which remove bleeding effects (luffa no longer works)
· Dying and combat rez
· Blind: A poison that occasionally blinds a target in melee range (apparently the closest person in melee), causing them to wander. Dispellable. If one tank is Gouged, and the other tank is Blinded, Moroes will run rampant on the group.
When a tank is blinded, it needs to be removed immediately by a Shaman, Paladin or Druid (it is a poison).

· Gouge: Gouges the highest aggro, incapacitating them. Moroes will attack the second highest aggro.
The off-tank must always be second on the aggro list, because the main tank will periodically be gouged and Moroes then will turn to the person with the second-highest aggro.

Your Tank can throw a few sunders and aggro gaining moves on Moroes and then turn his back to not get gouged.
· If you have a caster like a warlock or mage stand on top of your tank, the caster will take the gouge allowing your MT to keep full aggro on Moroes then entire fight and he never gets loose.

· Enrage: At 30% Moroes Enrages, increasing his damage.

Baron Rafe Dreuger Retribution Paladin Health: 68k can dispel shackle, casts blessings

Baroness Dorothea Millstipe Shadow Priest Health: 66k Casts mana burn

Lady Catriona Von'Indi Holy Priest Health: 66k can heal and dispel shackle

Lady Keira Berrybuck Holy Paladin Health: 68k casts Holy Light, dispels shackles, casts blessings

Lord Crispin Ference Protection Warrior Health: 83.4k very hard to kill

Lord Robin Daris Mortal Strike Warrior Health: 84k hard to kill, can easily one-hit clothies, does melee-AoE

The burn priority is as follows: Shadow Priest, Holy Priest, Holy Paladin, Retribution Paladin, Protection Warrior, and Mortal Strike Warrior.

KEYNOTES
· Your Tank can throw a few sunders and aggro gaining moves on Moroes and then turn his back to not get gouged. If you have a caster like a warlock or mage stand on top of your tank, the caster will take the gouge allowing your MT to keep full aggro on Moroes then entire fight and he never gets loose.
· A single treeform druid can heal through the garrotes, just cast a rejuv and a lifebloom every time the HoTs run out on your target. It is a little more then sufficient. Ask for help once in a while if needed.
· When you shackle your target get at max range from it so you can have enough time to reshackle if it breaks early. Best way to heal is cast shackle, throw a heal or two, cast shackle, throw a heal or two...etc.
· The faster the adds get CCed and killed the faster you can DPS Moroes and heal the Garrotes easier because less targets are getting Garroted.
· A survival spec hunter can fully CC 1 add, so if you have 2 priests and a hunter you only have to kill 1 add and can start DPSing Moroes.
· In case you are unfortunate enough to have only 1 priest you can burn 2 adds and then go to DPS Moroes with your hunter keeping the last one trapped. If you only have 1 shackled and the MS warrior, the MS warrior should ALWAYS be shackled as he is the hardest to deal with.

Priests can use a macro to ease their pain on controlling their adds...just use a macro like:
/target Baron Rafe Dreuger
/cast Shackle Undead
/targetlasttarget
